(Actually, I think that was part of either the kitchen staff or the directors' job description.) In our case, while the metered out doling of sugar made our lives easier, it wasn't even our primary motivation. We lived in platform tents or cabents (wooden frames with canvas over the doors and windows). We lived in the middle of the woods. While the lost fawn that somehow ended up in a tent was adorable, they're not the only wildlife around. We weren't the only ones living there. Hell, as temporary residents, we weren't even the main ones living there. One word. BEARS. (well, along with the first waaaay underage kissing/groping etc that parents seem to never know about... and I'm talking a Luthern Camp : ) Man, things have GOT to change...when does this "pendulum' (sp?) swing back??? I'll be hanging on it letting out a George of the Jungle call.... omg — you’re kidding? the packages were the best part of camp!!!
