Interview: Glee Music Supervisor PJ Bloom
Since Glee scored a (insert sports metaphor here) recently with a pair of Grammy nominations and its massive download hit of a Christmas record, and since it continues to shape the euphonic tastes of a generation, I thought it would be a good idea to talk to the man behind the music, the show’s Music Supervisor, PJ Bloom. He was insightful on every topic, including Journey, Christian Rock, and the dreaded Mash-Up. Check it out over at Vanity Fair.
Stop Believin’, or Don’t?
Glee was nominated for a Grammy today, forcing me to ask (and sort of attempt to answer) the all-important question: Why is Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” Indelible and Endemic to the Glee Mythology?

This week, Glee gleefully reveled in telling the truth, to positive effect for all involved (including the viewers.) Also, the top-notch second string earned some time on the field. And there was cheese. Lots of delicious cheese.
