The Thermal Club, near Palm Springs, California, is a private race track, featuring million dollar garages, a BMW Performance Driving School, a clubhouse, a pool, tennis courts, a spa, catering, a kid’s club, and individuated concierge service. In other words, it’s heaven. (Though a very expensive heaven.) I stayed there, and drove there, and wrote this for the summer issue of Departures.
