My brother’s band, The High Strung, is right at the #1 spot in The Hollywood Reporter’s list of television shows with awesome indie rocking theme songs, for their tune in the opening of Showtime’s big hit Shameless.

I first heard The Luck you Got watching Shameless and I said, I have to find out who wrote that song. I went to YouTube and found The High Strung. Liked some of the songs. So I bought Moxie Bravo and Get the Guests and I love them. Been listening all this week. The assimilation of early Beattles straight forward rock into a fresh, smart, ultimately original idiom is no small feat. I could go on about the various songs, but there are too many to mention.
