Modern Misfits #3: Cadillac XLR

XLR-p1

XLR-2

Laden with outrageous styling, innovative componentry, and tenacious Corvette underpinnings, the XLR took on a lot of Cadillac”s stereotypes and demons””all at once. It wasn”t as commercially successful as it was meant to be. But perhaps it was just ahead of its time?

  1. Thanks Brett,
I sent you a private message thru the XLR-net.com web site via my cell phone. Since then I have discovered I can save it to my laptop. It would be great if you would post the article to the XLR-net.com or give me permission to do that I am sure the members would appreciate it. Many of the members already have a copy of the latest Autoweek but it appears that I can not purchase it here in Ontario Canada. I will keep checking all the newsstands and we are headed to Florida next weekend so hopefully I will be able to grab one then (is it actually a weekly?, I may miss out!?!)
Anyway, thanks for including me in your article: I am famous once again for a brief moment!
