Glee garnered five Golden Globe nominations today, for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Faggiest Television Series. (That last one isn’t actually true. It was for Gayest Television Series.) Odds are, they’ll win a bunch of these. But why? I explain the odds, and the odds behind the odds, over at Vanity Fair.

Two words:

Bah, humbug.

Since Glee scored a (insert sports metaphor here) recently with a pair of Grammy nominations and its massive download hit of a Christmas record, and since it continues to shape the euphonic tastes of a generation, I thought it would be a good idea to talk to the man behind the music, the show’s Music Supervisor, PJ Bloom. He was insightful on every topic, including Journey, Christian Rock, and the dreaded Mash-Up. Check it out over at Vanity Fair.

Glee was nominated for a Grammy today, forcing me to ask (and sort of attempt to answer) the all-important question: Why is Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” Indelible and Endemic to the Glee Mythology?

This week, Glee gleefully reveled in telling the truth, to positive effect for all involved (including the viewers.) Also, the top-notch second string earned some time on the field. And there was cheese. Lots of delicious cheese.

Americans generally hate small cars. But not me. Or at least, I don’t hate all of them. To that end, here’s a Vanity Fair piece I wrote on three diminutive new vehicles that caught my queer eye while I was stumbling around the floor of the LA Show.
